Converted Media is a rapidly growing technology startup in the heart of Newcastle. We focus on building innovative products and platforms for software companies throughout the World.


As a key member of our software advisor team, you’ll be communicating with technology professionals in the US, Canada and Europe, helping assess their software requirements and advising them about available solutions. You’ll be creating high quality written sales leads from warm inbound leads - no cold calling here! If you’re great at it you’ll earn a whole lot!


An aptitude for building rapport and empathy is essential, as is the ability to adapt to customer needs quickly and seamlessly. Helping the business grow as you develop your skills and experience, you’ll be given the freedom and responsibility to deliver amazing results.

Requirements

Main Responsibilities of the Role: 

  • Outbound telephone calls and emails to senior technology professionals
  • Identifying a prospect’s software needs through in-depth telephone conversations
  • Writing up accurate, clear notes for each conversation
  • Identifying additional prospect information through online research

Based in our fantastic modern offices in central Newcastle at The Core in Science Central, the role requires you to be speaking with businesses in the US and Canada. Therefore, your work hours will typically be 12pm-8pm or 4pm-midnight.

  • Inquisitive, curious and an agile mind - asking plenty of questions to understand business challenges and recommend solutions.
  • Excellent writing skills - converting in-depth telephone conversations into concise, accurately written reports.
  • Persistent and focused - coming to work each day energised and ready to achieve your goals.
  • A track-record of success in a similar role, such as sales or telemarketing.
